Brian and Rachel Billings
We are a husband-and-wife team with a very diverse group of subcontractors. Because we have built our team of subs over the years, we have access to some incredibly skilled workers. We treat them well and as a result, they continue to want to work with us. They deliver an incredible product and we’re able to keep the client’s cost down… it’s a win-win!
My husband, Brian Billings, was once described as a ‘roofer that got bored.’ It’s true… he started out in the construction world learning about roofing systems when he was still a full-time banker. He enjoyed it so much, he decided to retire and work in construction full-time. It wasn’t long before he took on his first remodel for a client trying to sell his home. And, it’s just grown from there!
I had been helping with bookkeeping for years, but it was apparent I was needed full-time when we decided to launch the solar division of the business. So, I dissolved my consulting business (my background is also in finance) and here I am… working full-time alongside my husband.
Billington vs. Billings
You might be wondering why we chose to name our company Billington Construction instead of Billings Construction. Well, we thought Billings sounded expensive and all of our friends call us Billington, so it just made sense!
Why Solar?
Our goal is to offer affordable solar options for homeowners. We found when looking at solar for our personal home that not everyone was up front about the fees incurred. Also, it ties in so nicely with our roofing business, it seemed like the next logical step!
